ArcaniA (formerly ArcaniA: Gothic 4, ArcaniA: a Gothic Tale and Gothic 4: Genesis) is a spin-off from the Gothic series. It was developed by Spellbound Entertainment and published during 12th october 2010 by JoWooD Productions for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. 29th may 2015 saw the release of the game for PlayStation 4.

Trivia

  • Certain members of Piranha Bytes, the original developers of Gothic, have stated that the events of ArcaniA are not considered canon towards the Gothic series.[1] Now that the Gothic franchise is owned by THQ Nordic, the canonicity of ArcaniA remains unknown.
