Snaf is a cook in the Old Camp.

Personality

Snaf seems to be an outgoing person. Since he is a cook, everyone is friendly with him, and he is too. At least, with the Nameless Hero.

Gothic

For most of the day, Snaf cooks in his cauldron near his hut in the Old Camp.
When the Nameless Hero first talks to him Snaf offers him Rice and asks for a favor from him. He needs 5 Hell Mushrooms and 3 Bugmeats for his new recipe meatbug ragout a la Snaf with rice and mushrooms. He also tells him that he sent Nek to fetch them before but that he never returned.
When the Nameless Hero returns with the ingredients, he receives 3 bowls of meatbug ragout from him. If the Hero said that it sounds tasty when obtaining the quest, he can obtain three more ragouts every day.

Trivia

• Dobar has his face in Gothic II.
• Snaf appears in the canceled Gothic Sequel and asks for the player's help as many of his customers go to another cook called Halvor instead. When the player gives him Halvor's cookbook he rewards him by teaching him how to cook meatbug soup.
