== Enabling developer console (cheat mode) ==
This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "ge3.ini".<br>
The ge3.ini file is located in <code>\Gothic 3\ini</code> folder.<br>
In default Steam installation, the path to the folder will be: <code>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gothic 3\ini</code>

Look for the following entry in ge3.ini:

<code>[Game]<br>
TestMode=false</code>

And change it to:

<code>[Game]<br>
TestMode=true</code><br>

While playing the game, press ~ to display the console window. Note: Certain codes do not work if the game has been patched.
