Raven is an ore baron of the Old Camp in Gothic and the eponymous antagonist of the expansion Gothic II: Night of the Raven.
Gothic
Raven is Gomez's right hand man. Everyone who wants to talk to Gomez needs to first obtain permission from Raven to do so.
When the Nameless Hero attempts to join the Old Camp, he first talks to Raven who then escorts him to Gomez and warns him to behave himself. If the Hero does join the Old Camp, he receives his first armor and also his first mission from Raven. He sends the Hero to spy in the Swamp Camp and find out what they are planning. After the Hero obtains the focus and the minecrawler eggs for the Sleeper invocation, he reports back to Raven. Raven only tells him that he has done well, which offends the Hero and makes him not work for the Old Camp anymore.
After the Old Camp's attack on the Free Mine and the murder of the fire mages, the Old Camp closes its gates. However the Nameless Hero finds an old teleport rune of Xardas, which lets him teleport into its chapel. With this he has the option of eliminating Gomez, killing his right hand man Raven in the process.
